Family Dentist Vladimir Deresciuc, DDS, MS

Dr. Vlad Deresciuc is originally from Moldova, a beautiful little country bordering Eastern and Western Europe. He received his dental degrees in both Europe and the US. Dr. Vlad is a graduate of the prestigious Ivy League school, the University of Pennsylvania. He’s an accomplished clinician whose training over the past 20 years was geared towards serving his patients best and learning all the latest advancements and intricacies of general dentistry, surgical, and interdisciplinary dental treatment planning. Besides an additional 2 years of General Dentistry Residency, Dr. Vlad also specialized in the field of Periodontology, in which he proudly achieved and maintains its highest degree of recognition – the status of a Board-certified diplomate.

Dr. Vlad has lectured locally and internationally and has publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals.

Over the past 20 years, Dr. Vlad took part in multiple overseas volunteer mission trips under the umbrella of Health Volunteers Overseas, an organization committed to helping and promoting education and rendering dental and medical treatment to orphanages and communities in need.

Besides English, he speaks and understands Russian, Romanian, and Ukrainian languages.

In his free time, he loves reading and spending time outside with his wife, his three sons, and his cocker spaniel named Ovi. Dr. Vlad enjoys listening to and playing music. Having received formal classical guitar training – playing a guitar is of great interest to him.

Dr. Vlad and his family fell in love with Asheville’s beauty and are very happy to call it home! His wife is a physician at Pardee Hospital; they both look forward to becoming an integral part of the community and building life-long relationships here.
